We spend so much time investing in memories. If you can afford it, buy shower gel and body lotion of your chosen scent, and use it the night before / morning of your wedding. Your scent will cling and last all day (and night).
Try to stick to buy perfume for a day or two before the wedding. So you will not be tempted to wear before and will be a new day.
