Create a Wedding Budget

How to create a wedding budget?
The best plan to create a wedding budget takes important steps before you make your first plan or purchase. You can not create a realistic budget that allows you to select most of the items that you want for your big day, without knowing what things cost in your area. For example, you do not want to create a budget and then stunned when you discover that photography packages start at $ 5000 in your area when you budgeted $ 1000 for it. Do a lot of research, invest your time to answer all sorts of experts have printed price lists, and really know Ballparks what everything costs. Then sit back and watch your resources to know what kind of wedding you want.

Now, there are two additional steps here:
Talking with parents first to see if they are willing and able to pay for the wedding. (Not all parents can split the bill or pay the bill today. Numerous offers to pay for the flowers or the bar or honeymoon, etc.)
Make a second list of priority items that marriage is important to you (catering, entertainment, dress and photographs) and do the math to decide that you want to use, for example, 75% of your budget on these things while spending less (or do not) on the other. It can take a few steps and a little more time, but it's worth it to create a good budget flexible which allows you to remain constrained, but still able to spend a little more than expected here and there without a ton of guilt. The best budgets are just there to guide you, not make you feel guilty or stressed ... they are designed to prevent you from losing control.

Is there a time of year where you can really save money?

Absolutely! January to April is the hot season when it comes to find cheaper packages in all areas of the wedding industry. Mid to late April is my favorite time of year for a cheap wedding, then you get the start of the beautiful spring weather for a third the cost of a wedding in September or October (now two of the most expensive year). November is also a month at a good price, but keep in mind that many families have already planned their holidays, or the idea would never have to miss a family Thanksgiving elsewhere. Just be careful to plan your wedding in your area rainy, stormy, icy, snowy or hurricane seasons, to save money, it's not worth getting a bunch of crazy low prices when there is a threat so much time to your day and your guests traveling safety.
